Daniel Renteria to Appeal Negligent Homicide Conviction

Natasha Wrae Appointed as Counsel for Appeal

Despite overhwleming evidence of juror misconduct amongst other overwhelming factors, Daniel's Motion for a New Trial was denied by Judge Fields, opening the door for an Appeal. In a bold move, Natasha Wrae has asked the Court of Appeals to allow her to be court appointed counsel for the appeal. As a solely retained attorney, Ms. Wrae felt it necessary to break from her standard practice procedures in order to allow for the best possible representation for Daniel.
